For most pianos, this is the best choice. Includes time to address minor repairs, and deeper attention to touch, and tone than a Basic Tune. Choosing this service allows us to make incremental improvements to your piano on every visit!
RecommendedAn extended customized appointment — this is a spa day for your piano. We'll do in-depth mechanical calibration for beautiful touch, voicing the hammers for tone, and/or more involved repairs. Recommended when I identify work that goes beyond what a standard visit can address.

Most pianos benefit from tuning once or twice per year. Instruments that are played frequently, used for lessons, or that experience greater seasonal humidity changes may benefit from tuning twice a year or more.
Yes — your piano may need a pitch correction or pitch raise to bring it back to standard pitch and restore its intended voice. I include this at no extra charge, though it does draw from the time available for other improvements.
It's not the playing itself that causes a piano to go out of tune, but rather changes in temperature and humidity, and the settling of the instrument over time. How much a piano is played rarely has a significant impact on its tuning stability.
Jacob came over and tuned my very special family piano. He took such care to make sure that it sounded amazing, checking every single key and checking the alignment of everything inside. Talking to me about the pedals, etc. It was amazing. The best piano tuner I've ever had. We will definitely use him every time from now on. Highly recommend! I've asked Jacob to do several tunings and some repairs on two pianos in my life, and I've consistently been happy with the results.
